Hans Beek Organ culture is benefited by research in archives
Het ORGEL 104 (2008), nr. 1, xx-xx [summary]

In Germany - otherwise than in the Netherlands - many sacred archives are not deposited with regional or state archives. And these archives have often not been searched for the presence  of information relevant to organ culture. Two current German project demonstrate that such archival research unearths much relevant and interesting material for organ culture:  the well-known research by the Bach-Archiv in Leipzig, directed by Christopf Wolff, and the less well-known project of Konrad Küster, that concentrates on the sacred archives of smaller cities between Bremen and Hamburg.
